Thousands of Diaspora Jewish students to pray for Israel in Zoom service

Approximately 2,000 students from 25 Jewish day schools worldwide will conduct a joint prayer on Zoom for the soldiers of Israel this evening, Monday, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

The service will be organized by UnitED, the formal education in the diaspora initiative, led by the Diaspora Affairs Ministry and overseen by Herzog College, in collaboration with IsraAid, the Israeli forum for humanitarian aid. According to the invitation, they will facilitate a mass prayer tonight for the safety of Israel's soldiers.

The event will feature participation from over 2,000 elementary and middle school students from dozens of schools spanning the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia.

"This online gathering will present musical segments, the placing of notes in the Kotel, messages from IDF soldiers on duty, prayers sung for the well-being of the State of Israel and other prayer texts will be recited," the invitation said.
