Assad says national dialogue is most important step

Syrian President Bashar Assad said that a national dialogue was the most important step to quell the violence in Syria that erupted in mid-March by protesters demanding his ouster.
Assad said that dialogue was the logical next step after reforms and constitutional amendments had already been made. He added it was important to "review the constitution."
