The Haifa Magistrate's Court on Monday sentenced a bank teller who stole NIS 100,000 from his customers to 21 months in prison. The 30-year-old bank worker told the court that he stole the money in order to assist his fiancé's family. In addition to the jail sentence, he was given a NIS 20,000 fine.
