Ben-Eliezer's condition continues improving

MK Binyamin Ben-Eliezer could be released from Assaf HaRofeh Hospital in Tzrifin this week after he resumed breathing on his own and returned to consciousness over the weekend. Ben-Eliezer, 75, was hospitalized March 1 for an acute respiratory infection. His doctors said he had resumed speaking with them and that his life was no longer in danger.

Labor faction chairman Eitan Cabel, who is in touch with Ben-Eliezer's family, expressed hope that "our prayers will continue to be effective, and he will recover completely."
