A passenger on the 461 bus from Ariel to Jerusalem attacked the driver after being told to wear a mask on Friday, Ynet reported.

A 21-year-old resident of Shiloh in the West Bank was arrested towards the evening on suspicion of carrying out the attack.
The arrest was extended for three days as the investigation is ongoing.

The passenger boarded the bus without his mask and cursed at the driver when he was asked to put it on. The driver then told the passenger not to curse at him, in response to which the passenger threw his phone at the driver's face.

The driver was taken to a hospital.
