The car of Haifa DistrictCourt Judge Moshe Gilad was torched early Monday morning by unknown arsonistsnear his residence. Nobody was wounded inthe incident.
A citizen called police toreport a burning vehicle. Upon reaching the scene, the officers alerted afire-truck which quelled the flames.
Police consider the eventan attack at the judge, and believe it is related to his work in court, butnote that Gilad in the past was a lawyer who represented criminals, including members of northern crime families, such as the Mors. Accordingto police, Gilad did not receive any threats in the recent past.
