Clinton at Peres memorial: Honored to have known him for more than 25 years

Former US president Bill Clinton eulogized Shimon Peres at his funeral in Jerusalem on Friday, referring to him as his "friend of 25 years."
"Yesterday the prime minister did something that was unthinkable... he sent out a tweet. It was Israel's first day with out Shimon Peres," Clinton stated in his opening remarks.
Clinton continued by praising Peres's public service, "in one way or the other for the last 25 years," and added he was honored to have shared a friendship with late president over that same time.
"I am honored the family asked me to tell you what he meant to a person who is not a citizen of this country of which I love so much," Clinton added.
