Consumer price index up 1.1%

The consumer price index has increased by 1.1 percent over the last month in the wake of the recent tax hikes. The price of water has increased by 27% due to the drought tax imposed by the Treasury. The prices of vacations, fruit and vegetables also went up, while the cost of clothes, shoes and electricity went down. Since the start of the year, the CPI has jumped 3.2%.
