Dairy farmers block junctions to protest proposed imports

Dairy farmers were demonstrating at highway junctions across the country Sunday morning in protest of the government's stated intention to open the market to more dairy imports, thereby lowering the price of their products.
In the North, some 50 protesters were blocking Megiddo Junction, Israel Radio reported. Other demonstrations were blocking Yagur, Tzemah and Golani junctions.
