Dermer thanks Egypt, Qatar and Mladenov for helping solve Gaza crisis

Israel's ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, thanked the Egyptian and Qatari governments and UN Special Coordinator for Middle East Peace Nickolay Mladenov on Tuesday for their help in solving the ongoing Gaza crisis.
"The Government of Israel thanks the UN’s Mladenov, Egypt and Qatar for their efforts to improve the situation in Gaza and hopes that a long term agreement can be reached that will both maintain Israel’s security and enable Gaza’s development," he wrote on Twitter.
The three parties helped Israel and Hamas agree to a ceasefire last month after Hamas launched nearly 500 rockets at Israel from the costal enclave.
