Doctors, Treasury talks on wages ends without results

Negotiations between representatives of the Finance Ministry and the Israel Medical Association ended late Tuesday night without results.
During the meeting, the IMA rejected an offer by the Finance Ministry to increase doctor's wages by 20 percent, saying that the offer was only one percent higher than the previous bid.
The sides agreed to meet again on Thursday.
A large doctors' protest is scheduled to take place Wednesday morning in front of the Knesset.
