Dozens participate in TA flash mob 'freeze' for peace

Dozens took part in a flash mob held in central Tel Aviv on Friday afternoon, pausing in place for three minutes to show their support of a continuation of the government's controversial settlement construction freeze.
The event was organized by a number of activists and circulated widely on Facebook and Twitter in recent weeks. The message behind the flash mob, called “Freeze for the Settlement Freeze”, was that ending the freeze jeopardizes the peace process.
One of the organizers, Eyal Raviv, said the flash mob was chosen because new media and internet social networking enable such actions to reach a very wide audience.
