Druse in north attack military ambulance carrying wounded Syrian

A military ambulance, carrying a person wounded in the ongoing civil war in Syria, was attacked by a group of Druse Israelis on Monday, Channel 2 reported Monday.
A number of residents in the northern Druse village of Hurfeish threw rocks at the ambulance as it drove from the northern border in the Golan Heights to a hospital in Nahariya.
The people also attempted to block the road so the ambulance could not pass. During the incident, one person in his 60s was moderately injured.
The ambulance driver managed to escape and get to a nearby police station, where the wounded Syrian was transferred by police to the hospital for treatment.
