Egyptian authorities on Saturday morning continued searching for survivors of a motorboat collision in the Nile. Dozens of passengers were still missing after Friday's accident near the town of Rasheed. An Egyptian security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media, said that 13 passengers were rescued on Friday evening. Provincial Governor Mohammed Sharawi told Egypt's official news agency that one of the boats capsized. Egypt has frequent transportation accidents, mainly because of poor infrastructure. A ferry sinking in 2006 killed more than 1,000 people.
