Egypt says Brotherhood sit-ins no longer acceptable

CAIRO - Egypt's interim government said on Wednesday it would take all measures to deal with violence from Muslim Brotherhood sit-in protests in Cairo, declaring them a threat to national security that was no longer acceptable.
"The cabinet has decided to take all measures necessary to confront these risks and put an end to them," it said in a televised statement. It said it had instructed the interior minister to do everything necessary to deal with them within the law.
