Ex-soldier activates school siren 'out of boredom'

An ex-soldier who served in the IDF's Home Front Command broke into a school while pupils were studying and activated its siren "out of boredom," police said on Monday.
The suspect, 20, of Hod Hasharon, arrived at a Ra'anana school on Sunday and pretended to be a serving Home Front Command representative who had come to test out sirens.
He gained access to the school siren system, set it off, and "caused panic among pupils," police added.
Police arrested the suspect soon afterward.
