7 fires sparked by incendiary balloons in southern Israel

Some 7 fires were sparked by incendiary balloons in southern Israel on Monday, according to Israel Fire and Rescue Services, as launches of incendiary and explosive balloons continued from the Gaza Strip.

An explosive balloon landed in a field in southern Israel on Monday and was disarmed by police sappers. No injuries or damage were reported.

Israel Police reminds the public to contact them by dialing 100 whenever a suspicious object is found. It is prohibited to touch them and people in the area should be distanced from such an object.
