Factory collapses in Lebanon, 3 missing

BEIRUT — A five-story aluminum factory collapsed north of Beirut on Thursday, leaving at least three people unaccounted for, police officials said.
The officials said that the building collapsed shortly before dozens of employees came to work.
The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with regulations, said the missing were a Lebanese and two Asian workers, most probably Indians.
After the collapse in Zouk Mosbeh's industrial neighborhood, a few kilometers (miles) from Beirut, scores of civil defense members were seen digging through the rubble.
Others used sniffing dogs to try to locate the missing.
The cause of the collapse appeared to be weakness in the foundations of the building, the officials said.
