Family of Mengistu protests family visit of Palestinian prisoners

The family of Israeli citizen Avraham “Abera” Mengistu, missing in Gaza since September 2014, protested a family visit of Palestinian prisoners on Monday in front of Hadarim Prison in the Sharon region on Monday.
“We came today to send a message - we continue to fight hard for the release of my brother Abera,” stated Ilan Mengistu
Yoel Marshak, a Kibbutz Movement official and leader of the campaign to free Gilad Shalit stated, “We returned to Hadarim prison to tell the terrorists’ mothers that if we do not have information on Abera Mengistu we will do everything possible to prevent them from receiving information on their sons.”
A flyer distributed by the Mengistu family to the family of Palestinian prisoners reads, “Hamas continues to hold [Abera] and refuses to release him or give information.”
