First severe swine flu case recorded in Israel

After 846 reported cases of swine flu were recorded in Israel, the first severe case was diagnosed Monday. A 21-year-old tourist from Sweden was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv with a severe case of the H1N1 virus infection. The tourist's mother was also diagnosed with swine flu and hospitalized in the same hospital suffering a light infection. So far 94,512 people have been diagnosed with swine flu globally, and 429 have died from the disease.
