Gaza man indicted for plotting terror attacks, kidnapping

The Southern District Attorney filed an indictment on Monday against a Gaza man, charging him with security offenses including plotting to carry out a suicide bombing attack in Israel and to kidnap a soldier, the State Attorney's Office revealed on Wednesday.
Rafiah resident Mohammed Hassin Awad Abu Adareh, aged 20, is alleged to be a member of Hamas's military wing, the Izz al-Din Qassam Brigades.
According to the indictment, Adareh also plotted to fire rockets into Eilat from Sinai in order to murder Israeli citizens and soldiers, and suggested shooting at IDF vehicles using a rocket-propelled grenade launcher (RPG).
Adareh was arrested when he attempted to infiltrate Israel illegally.
