The object that landed on Bat-Yam's segregated beach on Saturday morning was not a meteorite, the Geological Survey of Israel institute said Sunday. The GSI ascertained the item was man-made, it was made up mostly of organic material, with some phosphorus content causing the object's repeated eruption into flame.
