Hamas denies newspaper shipment to Gaza

The first shipment of outside newspapers sent to the Gaza Strip in three years was blocked by Hamas leaders on Wednesday.
10,000 copies of three Palestinian dailies from the West Bank and Jerusalem were to be allowed into Gaza, said the IDF.
The shipment was blocked because it was not properly coordinated, Hamas reported on its website the same day.
The terror organization will not allow the newspapers in until Mahmoud Abbas allows Hamas-linked newspapers into his West Bank stronghold, reported an official familiar with Hamas's thinking.
The West Bank has banned Hamas newspapers since 2007.
