A day after Kadima announced its decision not the join Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's coalition for the time being, MK Tzahi Hanegbi told Army Radio Tuesday that the public "did not need to be involved" in the party's deliberations. When asked about his personal opinion on the matter, he dodged the question, instead answering that he respected the party's final decision. "It was not clear if the prime minister had a genuine interest" in Kadima joining the government, he told Army Radio, adding that a discreet approach would have been preferable. "That's what [Kadima chair Tzipi] Livni was interested in doing," Hanegbi said.
