Haredi population in southern Israel gets into violent altercation with security forces

A standoff between Haredi and secular residents of the southern Israeli city of Arad on Saturday night evolved into a violent altercation that resulted in the summoning of security forces to the area.
Police reported that residents aimed burning tires at a local residence in the city, and police officers had to disperse the rioters. Four suspects were detained by the police and are expected to be brought into interrogation on Sunday.
