Hiker injured by landmine near Moshav Yardena in Beit She'an area

A 37-year-old man hiking near Moshav Yardena in the Beit She'an Valley on Wednesday stepped on a landmine, sustaining moderate injuries.
The injured man was part of a group of hikers, and had entered an abandoned building, where the landmine was located.
The 37-year-old was evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.
The Beit She'an police bomb squad technicians were en route to the site.
