IDF: Beware of gas mask con merchants

Following a number of complaints that individuals posing as Israel Postal Service workers were trying to sell protection kits, the IDF Home Front Command stressed that there were just two ways to receive gas masks – at Israel Postal Service centers, or via the telephone service center to arrange a time for a postal employee to deliver a mask at a cost of NIS 25.
The postal service urged members of the public to contact police should they encounter any suspicious attempts to sell them the kits.
The IDF said it was checking the complaints.
