IDF targets suspicious vehicles on Egyptian border, one man killed

An investigation was opened after a driver was killed following IDF attempts to stop a suspicious vehicle accelerating towards security forces on the Egyptian border late Wednesday night, according to an IDF statement. 

IDF forces identified three suspicious vehicles on the Israeli-Egyptian border, and signaled them to stop. However, one vehicle instead accelerated leading to IDF soldiers to shoot at the vehicle's wheels. 

A driver was killed as a result of one of the shooting attempts.
