Israel: UN to take seized flotilla goods to Gaza

The IDF on Tuesday announced that an agreement had been reached with the United Nations to deliver to Gaza tons of aid carried on a flotilla attacked by naval commandos on May 31.
The military said the UN will supervise use of the goods, including food, clothes and medicine. Up to now, the Hamas rulers of Gaza have refused to accept the aid as a protest against Israel's three-year blockade.
UN spokesman Richard Miron confirmed the agreement. It was unclear when the goods would be transferred and whether all the cargo would be sent.
