Israeli film nominated for foreign language Oscar

An Israeli film was nominated Tuesday for a best foreign language film Academy Award.
The Academy nominated Asghar Farhadi for directing "Footnote," a film about an academic competition between father and son.
Bringing the international sphere to the Oscar stage, Israel will face off against the Iranian film "A Separation," which already won a Golden Globe for best foreign film.
Also nominated is "In Darkness," the gritty Polish film about the Holocaust, "Bullhead" from Belgium and "Monsieur Lazhar" from Canada.
