Israeli Human Rights Groups: Allow Congolese migrants to stay in Israel

Israeli human right groups demanded on Tuesday that Minister of the Interior Aryeh Deri halt the deportation process of Congolese nationals living in Israel.
The Ministry of the Interior decided in early October that Congolese migrants need to leave the country until the end of December.
Noting that the state still has not respond to asylum requests submitted by Congolese years ago, and that the situation in the Congo has not changed in any noticeable way, the human rights groups called on the state to halt the deportation process until the requests can be processed.
