Japan coast guard detains Chinese fishing boat near Okinawa

SHANGHAI - Japan@@@s coast guard has detained a Chinese fishing boat for "alleged unauthorized coral fishing" near Okinawa, China@@@s official Xinhua news agency reported on Saturday, quoting the Chinese Consulate General in the city of Fukuoka.
The vessel was detained off Miyako, some 150 km (95 miles) from islands in the East China Sea at the centre of a simmering dispute between the two countries.
