J'lem mayor condemns violence, calls for co-existence

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat came out strongly against violence in the nation's capital on Sunday, two days after an attack by Jewish youths left a young Arab man in critical condition. "I unequivocally condemn any expression of violence, both verbal or physical, by any party," Barkat said in a statement.
The mayor added that he is confident police will bring the attackers to justice, while calling for ensuring co-existence continues in the city.
