Judge on Hanegbi: 'I am against ruling of moral turpitude'

Judge Yoel Tzur, one of three judges which were expected to give a final ruling on the case against MK Tzahi Hanegbi Tuesday morning, announced that he will not convict the MK of crimes involving moral turpitude.
The judge, who acquitted Hanegbi of all other charges in the case, said, "I am against a total punishment, eight years have passed since the incident and the defendant has paid a personal price; a moral turpitude ruling is the opposite of human dignity," reported Army Radio.
The other judges in the panel have not yet submitted their positions.
