Kadima dispatches 'equality guards' to cover sexist sign

Political party Kadima dispatched youth activists Wednesday night on a "mission" to cover up a sign posted outside a Beit Shemesh synagogue calling on women to cross to the other side of the street.
According to a Kadima statement, the youth embarked on the mission after the mayor and municipality refrained from acting to remove the sign, which Kadima called "shameful."
Kadima party leader Tzipi Livni said that "Anyone who wants to join Kadima's equality guards is welcome. It is the duty of the mayor to take down the sign."
