Kahlon in Hebron: Gov't will decide fate of settler home

Only the government can decide the fate of the Hebron building from which the IDF has ordered its settler residents to leave, Welfare and Social Services Minister Moshe Kahlon said Tuesday in the city.
Kahlon had just finished meeting with the 15 families who had, last Thursday, moved into the apartment complex they claim was purchased legally from its Palestinian owner.
The government has set a 6:00 p.m. meeting to examine the facts, and make a decision as to whether the Defense Ministry should call off the eviction. The IDF has said while the purchase of the homes near the Cave of the Patriarchs may be legal, their presence in a Palestinian neighborhood under Israeli control may disturb public order.
