Kinneret still 41 cm below red line

After a few initial September rains, the Kinneret water level was still 41 centimeters below the bottom red line on Sunday, at 213.41 below sea level, Water Authority data said. The even more foreboding black line, which is located at 214.87 meters below sea level, was not breached this summer.
At its highest point in 2011, in mid-May, the water level hovered around 212.345 meters, according to Water Authority data. Last October on this same day, the Kinneret was at 213.685 below sea level, 27.5 centimeters under this Sunday’s reading.
