Knesset ups statute of limitations on harassment lawsuits

The Knesset on Monday passed into law a bill raising the statute of limitations on sexual harassment lawsuits from three to seven years.
The bill's sponsor, MK Tzipi Hotovely responded, saying that "it is important to give women who have been harassed time, so that they can process the event and understand that it was not their fault," Army Radio reported.
Hotovely added that the bill "will help hundreds of women, who were limited to three years by the previous statute and cut off from justice."
