Lebanon refuses to accept Israeli warning on flotilla

Beirut has refused to accept Israel's warning against allowing the Lebanese flotilla organized by female activists to set sail to the Gaza Strip, Lebanese Transport Minister Ghazi Aridi said in an AFP report.
According to the report, Aridi told AFP reporters in a telephone conversation that Lebanon, "...will not respond to the wishes or requests of (Israeli Defense Minister Ehud) Barak, and what he says is of little relevance to us."
"We will continue to exercise our sovereignty and make the decisions we find appropriate," he added.
