Lieberman: We can find solution to illegal settlement issue

Foreign Minster Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday that the government will work to find a solution to the legal issues presented by the construction of settlements in Judea and Samaria.
Speaking to Israel Radio, Lieberman warned that clearing settlements and outposts in the West Bank that the High Court of Justice has deemed illegal "makes life harder for all of us."
The foreign minister rejected the idea that the new development of settlements continues to negatively affect the peace process.
"We tried to do negotiations and we saw that [a settlement freeze] did not achieve anything," Lieberman told Israel Radio.
"I don't want to tear the fabric of Israel from within," the foreign minister said. "We can find a solutions somewhere between the settlements and the law."
