The Likud Party sent an official letter to President Reuven Rivlin on Sunday demanding he pass the mandate to form a government from Blue and White leader Benny Gantz to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In the letter, the Likud points out that seeing as Blue and White means to enter a unity emergency government led by Netanyahu the transfer of the mandate should be done “immediately” when Gantz’s mandate expires.
