'Lindenstrauss to call Galant to testify on land deals'

State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss will call Maj.-Gen. Yoav Galant to testify about questionable land dealings on his moshav early next week, a move that could potentially threaten his scheduled appointment to chief of General Staff on February 14, Channel Two reported on Tuesday.
The Green Movement has also asked the High Court to issue an order preventing Galant from taking command of the IDF prior to the land dealings issue being fully investigated.
On Monday, the state informed the high court that Lindenstrauss had discovered facts regarding Galant's land dealings on his moshav that were unknown to the state when it opposed a High Court petition by the Green Movement against appointing Galant the next chief of General Staff.
