Livni accuses government of fomenting extremism

Opposition leader Tzipi Livni accused Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's government Tuesday of fueling extremist flames that led to a settler attack on and IDF base overnight Monday.
"Settler violence against an IDF base is another level of extremism coming over Israel with her agreement, with silence and a wink from the Netanyahu government, directly or indirectly," Livni said.
"Agreeing with proposed extremist bills, silence in the face of extremist rabbis and winking at coalition partners are the fertile ground for growing savagery. We must act decisively to enforce the law and not allow extremist groups to determine our fate."
