Livni requests to testify before Turkel Commission

Opposition head MK Tzipi Livni (Kadima) wrote a letter to Supreme Court justice Jacob Turkel on Monday, requesting to testify before the Turkel Commission.
In the letter, Livni says that as former foreign minister, and a member of the cabinet that decided on the blockade on Gaza, her testimony would be relevant to the proceedings.
She also says that Netanyahu did not properly explain the background and decision-making process behind the blockade.
