Livni sends her thanks to election supporters

Tzipi Livni sent a message of thanks to her supporters Wednesday, hours after conceding a primary election for the control of Kadima to challenger Shaul Mofaz. In a message posted to her Facebook page, Livni thanked supporters for their support and willingness to show up and fight for a vision of a beautiful Israel.

Speaking at Kadima Headquarters in Petah Tikva after his victory Tuesday night, Mofaz called for party unity and invited Livni to work with him to unseat Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. She has not yet indicated whether she plans to remain in the party.
