Livni slams gov't decision to advance settlement building

Israel should invest money in settlement blocks that will not be given away in any future agreement, not in moving houses from one place to another, Tzipi Livni said on Tuesday.

Speaking to students at Ben Gurion University, The Tzipi Livni Party leader slammed the government's decision to advance settlement building in the West Bank and in E1.

"Announcing [settlement] building is unnecessary. It damages our relations with the world and it doesn't strengthen the state of Israel, it is rather meant to keep Netanyahu's partners from the Right in the coalition," she said.
