Makhoul's wife: 'Confession came as result of torture'

Amir Makhoul's wife said Thursday that her husband's confessions that he spied on behalf of Hizbullah were given under pressure of torture by his Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) interrogators.
Makhoul's wife claimed in the Army Radio interview that her husband's interrogators tortured him until he agreed with their charges against him.
The Shin Bet has denied the report that the Arab-Israeli political activist was tortured, as reported by Army Radio.
