Man found critically hurt from stab wounds near J'lem

A 40-year-old Jewish man was discovered in Ramat Beit Shemesh critically injured from a number of stab wounds on Wednesday afternoon.
Police opened an investigation into the incident, but were unsure if the man was a victim of a terrorist attack or a criminal attack.
Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated the man, who was stabbed in the stomach, to Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem, where he underwent surgery. The man was conscious when he was evacuated but police are still unsure of the background of the situation.
Police are not reviewing whether the incident was terror or criminal related, and placed a media ban on all details of the investigation.
