Attorney-General Menachem Mazuz and State Prosecutor Moshe Lador reported to the Supreme Court on Sunday that they are in the process of deciding on whether to prosecute Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on charges of fraud, receiving bribes and witness tampering. The information was released in response to a petition filed to the court by Leiberman. In August, following a three year investigation, the police recommended the prosecution indict Lieberman on numerous charges. Lieberman has said he would resign from the government and from leadership of his political party Israel Beiteinu if an indictment is filed against him.
