MK Dov Lipman (Yesh Atid) met with Nefesh B'Nefesh Executive Director Rabbi Josh Fass and Director of Government Advocacy Zev Gershinsky in the Knesset Thursday to discuss ways Lipman, the first US-born MK in nearly 30 years, can help English-speaking immigrants and encourage aliyah. Lipman said he is working on bills to address needs of the English-speaking community in Israel, and will encourage changes to ease the immigration and absorption process that do not require legislation. "I would not be living in Israel today were it not for Nefesh B'Nefesh's assistance," Lipman stated. "I am fortunate to be in a position where I can be of assistance to them and all English-speaking immigrants in my new role in the Knesset."
